Jeffrey George Gregg

Jeffrey George Gregg, 46, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, formerly of Longmont, Colorado, passed away October 8, 2008.Jeff was born May 27, 1962, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to George Rood Gregg, Jr. and Audriene Lou ""Audi"" (Amandus) Gregg. He graduated from Rocky Ford High School and later earned a degree in Business Administration from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.On September 22, 1984, Jeff married Jimme Lyn Barnhart in Lamar, Colorado.Mr. Gregg worked in land management, securing permits and purchases for Hall-Irwin Corporation for several years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his friends and family.He is survived by his wife, Jimme of Longmont; daughter, Trisha Lyn Gregg of Hays, Kansas; son, Drew Gregg, of Longmont; sister, Cathy Picket and her husband, Steven, of Las Vegas, Nevada; and his nieces, Cori Pickett of Brighton, and Melissa Pickett of Las Vegas.A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 17, 2008 at Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services, Longmont.
