He graduated from Niwot High School and then went on to Southern Illinois University to receive his Aviation business degree and his commercial flight license. Jeff’s first flight job was cloud seeding in Kansas and then went on to work at Great Lakes Aviation where he eventually became the Chief Pilot. For the last 17 years Jeff flew as a private pilot for Ben Doud’s Family.
Jeff was an avid outdoorsman, which included fishing, hunting, camping and much more. He was a proud Christian man and attended Grandview Church in Mead, CO.
He is survived by his wife Shelly, daughter Lily, furry children: Tony, Oliver, and Khloe as well as his parents Ron and Lynn Pomeroy and his brother Steve Pomeroy and his wife Terri.
Jeff loved life and it showed in his amazing sense of humor. He could tell a joke better than most and he would be laughing the hardest. He was a mix of generous, kind and ornery which made him one in a million. He was a jack of all trades, could fix anything and was nicknamed Macgyver by his Dad. Jeff started playing the guitar by ear at eight years old. He loved an audience and combined his guitar talent with his beautiful voice.
The family would like to thank all the friends and family that supported them in this journey.
