Jennie Lynn Kasid

Jennie Lynn Kasid (Knippelmeyer), of Longmont, Colorado, passed away on July 30, 2023, with her husband by her side after a short battle with ovarian cancer at the age of 53. Jennie was a devoted wife, mom, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was loved and will be deeply missed by all.

Jennie was born March 7, 1970, in Boulder, Colorado to Rich and Connie Knippelmeyer. She appreciated growing up in Colorado where her family enjoyed adventuring in the outdoors.

She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado and then earned her commercial real estate license. She enjoyed a career in commercial property management and was the co-owner and founder of All Events Rentals of Longmont.

Jennie married Dan Kasid on April 23, 2005, in Boulder, Colorado. In 2013, they welcomed their daughter, Olivia, the love of their lives. Jennie was profoundly grateful to be able to dedicate her time to homeschooling Olivia.

Jennie was a kind and joyful person who put others first and was always there to help, encourage, and comfort. She had a great sense of humor and was considered the glue of the family. Her sudden loss has left her family and friends heartbroken.

Jennie is survived by her husband, Dan Kasid and their daughter, Olivia Kasid; parents, Rich and Connie Knippelmeyer; grandmother, Millie Buethe; sister, Kellie (Scott) Coe; sister, Tammie (Shawn) Jennings; nephew, Ben (Jazmine) Jennings; niece, Lindsay Coe; niece, Hannah Coe; grandniece, Lilly Jennings; and grandnephew, Richard Jennings. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Ken Buethe; grandfather, Otto Knippelmeyer; and grandmother, Gladys Knippelmeyer.

Per Jennie’s wishes, Dan and Jennie’s families gathered privately to celebrate her life.
