Jerome A. Singer

Jerome A. Jerry Singer passed away December 26, 2018 at Applewood Living Center. He was 78 years old.Jerry was born in Bismarck, ND to John F. and Alice F. (Timm) Singer. He grew up in North Dakota where he attended Bismarck High School and North Dakota State University.On March 1, 1960 he married Deanna Dee Brink in North Dakota. The family moved to Longmont, CO in 1973 from Fargo, ND.Jerry worked as a draftsman. This took the family to Anchorage, AK and took part in the Good Friday 1964 earthquake with a 9.2 magnitude. Later in his career Jerry drew the working plats for the Glenwood Canyon I-70 Corridor. Jerry was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church and belonged to the Longmont Genealogical Society. He was also part of the Disabled Parking Patrol in Longmont. In his free time he enjoyed working on model aircraft, fishing, hunting and shooting.He was preceded in death by his wife Dee; his parents and one sister Annie.Jerry is survived by his sons Greg and Jon Singer; his sisters Cookie and Mary; his grandchildren Christilina (Massachusetts), David (Longmont) and Michael (Florida); and his great grandchildren Elijah and Jayden (Longmont) and Hailey (Florida).Memorial service 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church.
