Jesse Lewis Hoefling

Jesse Lewis H fling was born in Grenoble, France and grew up in Illinois and Colorado. As a child he played the violin, loved classical music and the game of basketball, and served as an altar boy at St. Luke Orthodox Church in Lafayette, Colorado, where he was baptized in 2001. He attended Peak to Peak High School in Lafayette, excelling academically as well as entertaining fans with his three-pointer skills on the basketball team. Jesse graduated from Central College in Pella, Iowa with degrees in Finance and English, played on the basketball team, and was a regular on the Dean's List. After college he worked in manufacturing and marketing, and was most recently employed at Freedom Drilling in Greeley, Colorado. He was a skilled stand-up comedian, placing as a finalist in a Greeley contest in 2019. He will be remembered for his sensitivity, sophisticated wit, writing talent, voracious literary reading, and his skill in ministering to people who suffer emotionally or with addictions.He is predeceased by his father, Timothy H fling, and survived by his mother Jean H fling of Louisville, Colorado, brother Micah (Kari) of Colorado Springs, sisters Adele H fling and Olivia H fling (Larson) of Louisville, grandparents John and Maydelle H fling of Rockford, Illinois, grandfather Lewis Johnson of Louisville, and two nephews, Jaden H fling and Beau Marshall.
