Aunt Joni loved get-togethers. She loved to have the family come together in her home and celebrate with her. She taught us how to bake and how to host, how to be good Christians and love one another. I’m so thankful for her lessons in life she is truly going to be missed.

You know these to are catching up on some quality sister time up in Heaven. It’s reassuring knowing these 2 were my examples of how to act, treat others and how to love. Thank you for the many lessons you taught me. Thank you for encouraging me to find my life’s verse. Ephesians 4:32-and be ye kind one to another tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ sake has forgiven you.

O what a glorious meeting in Heaven these 2 are having. It brings tears of joy knowing they are reunited again. No Aunt Joanie is not crying here, she is laughing while playing a fun baby shower game for my oldest son her great great nephew baby shower.

Aunt Joanie loved all the babies and thought babies where blessings from God. . This is a pic of her with my youngest daughter her great great niece Kylie Madison Crump.

Joanie was a 2nd or 3rd cousin, but we have always known her as Aunt Joanie.  Such a sweet and loving lady, next to great Aunt Madge, her mom.  We didn't get to see her often, but when we did, she made sure we felt loved!  To Bill and the rest of the family my sympathy and prayers for you during the time.  Starla (Hodges)Black

Mrs. Honaker, and the whole Honaker family, have been precious to my sister and me for a lifetime. From childhood memories, through young adult encouragements, to walking through life's discouragement, victories and devastations, Mrs. Honaker was a constant prayer-warrior. She will forever be dear to me.

My condolences to the family.  I loved Aunt Joanie.  She was always there to help anyone in need.  She was there for me.  I cant recall all the times she was there for others as it was to many.  My heart aches at her leaving but I know she is in a much better place.  She is now with her daughter Cynthia, her sister Eva her brother Bob and her parents.  Aunt Joanie you will truly be missed and we love you.

I will never forget this precious woman, a kind, loving and strong lady, who I respected and felt like being close to her was a wonderful treat. She was full of Jesus and I felt she walked it everyday.  I hope your memories will give you a calmness she taught me.  I will see you again  when I make it to heaven, Mrs. Honaker, hope to have that hug again from you , like you gave me when I was 7.

Joan was an amazing woman and made a difference in so many lives. She led ladies in Bible studies and led many women to the Lord. She took teen on missions trips and made a huge difference in their lives. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother!  She will be deeply missed because she was deeply loved!

I have so many fond memories of Joan and the entire Honaker family- growing up across the street on Milan was a great experience. Thinking of your entire family during the loss of your mom, she was a dear sweet lady who meant so much to my parents and so many others.  I know losing her is hard. Bill and Family,   Our hearts are full of joy everytime we think of Joanie .  Her wisdom, love for Christ and others was such a testimony of Gods grace. She always gave me her time and love from the moment we met when I was a freshman in HighSchool.   Selfless Godly woman and memories of her will encourage so many until we meet again in Glory.  God bless each one of you and encourage your hearts thru His Word. Proverbs 3:5,6.
