John Lujan

He was 65 years old. John was born in Longmont Colorado on December 9, 1953, the son of Juan and Aurora (Mora) Lujan. He grew up and attended school in Longmont in Lafayette. On December 1, 1973 he was united in marriage to Maria “Lucy” Villagran in Longmont Colorado.

He was a graduate of Lafayette High School, class of 1972 and was an All-Conference athlete in baseball and basketball. John also was in the high school band as well as a rock ‘n’ roll band called People’s Choice.

In his adulthood, John enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren, bowling, playing basketball and softball as well coaching softball. He really loved cooking with his wife and having family get togethers. He also enjoyed spending time with his sons.

Preceding John in death where his parents and brother, Pas Frank Lujan.

Surviving family members include his children, Johnny Lujan and Anthony (Monica) Lujan. Surviving grandchildren are Tyrone Lujan, Sabrina Fernandez, Johnny Lujan Jr., Alex Lujan, Mia Lujan, and Analyse Lujan, Zanaeya Lujan, Angel Lujan and Great-Granddaughter, Aria Fernandez. Siblings, Jessica (Jim) Abeyta, Andrea (Bob) Montemayor, Art Lujan, Lori Lujan, Mike Lujan and sister-in-law, Debbie Lujan. John had several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
