Kandace Marie Loukonen, 58, of Longmont, died October 4, 2015 at Applewood Living Center after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 28, 1957 in Ogallala, Nebraska to Willard and Darline O’Donnell Keene. Kandace was a graduate of Louisville High School and in May of 1984 she married John F. Loukonen in Lyons, CO. They later divorced.
Kandace spent her working career as a coordinator in the health care field. In her free time she enjoyed being outdoors tending her yard and garden. She also enjoyed any time spent with her family and her furry friends.
Survivors include her son Matthew Loukonen and her daughter Jessica Loukonen of Longmont and her sister Deena of California.
Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 12, 2015 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel.
