Kenneth W

Kenny was born October 20, 1954 in Mobile, Alabama, the son of Giles and Velma “Pat” (Treherne) Ray. He was retired from the Department of Labor as a boilermaker.

On February 10, 1997 he married Darla G. Dueitt in Gatlinburg, TN. They moved to Colorado earlier this year.

Kenny enjoyed the outdoors, and appreciated the beauty of Colorado. He was a competitive bass fisherman and an avid hunter of deer, ducks, elk and geese and had recently taken up an interest in gold prospecting. He also loved to read.

Survivors include his parents Giles and Pat Ray of Theodore, AL, his wife Darla of Longmont, CO, his sons Andrew Ray of Daphne, AL and Todd Tillinghast of Denver, CO. He is further survived by his brother Douglas (Gay) Ray of Irvington, AL and his sister Patricia Ault of Mobile, AL.

Graveside services and interment will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Foothills Gardens of Memory.
