Lawrence Larry Dean Moore was born on May 31, 1948 in Independence, Missouri to parents William David Moore, Jr. and Rosalie Ackerman. After serving two tours with the U.S. Army in Vietnam, Larry returned home in 1969. He moved to Denver in 1974 and married Kathryn Vojta on May 20, 1978. They made their first home together in Boulder, then moved to Longmont in 1991. Larry was a successful plumbing salesman who enjoyed big talk. Some of his favorite stories were of moments at Las Vegas craps tables with a Mai Tai in his hand. He loved movies and spending time with family and friends, especially at Happy Hour. Larry is survived by his wife, Kathy Moore, three kids, Alishia Moore (his favorite ex-son-in-law, Tim Weimer), Simone Moore, and William Moore (Anita Bancroft), and two grandchildren, Liam Weimer and Fiona Weimer.
