Larry ""Rudy"" Thomas Scheopner of Lakewood died Monday, October 26, 2009 at Hospice of Saint John. He was 60.Larry was born in Longmont to Henry and Mary (Stroyek) Scheopner on December 20, 1948.He enjoyed old cars and had a wide knowledge of them. He liked going to the beautiful Rocky Mountain and Mt. Evans. He also enjoyed a variety of music, especially the Beatles and Toby Keith.Larry is survived by his four brothers: David (Terry) Scheopner of Greeley, Ray (Nancy) Scheopner of Tucson, Arizona, Al and Chuck Scheopner of Longmont; three sisters, Dorothy Scheopner, S.L. and Lee Scheopner of Denver and Theresa (L.J.) Stevi of Ft. Collins.Recitation of the Rosary will be at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 3rd, at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church with Inurnment to follow at Foothills Gardens of Memory.
