Leonard Rockwell Westcott, (Wes) of Longmont, Colorado passed away Monday, March 22, 2021. He was born on October 12, 1936 in Albert Lea, Minnesota to Leonard and LuLu Westcott. He married Lois Wayne on May 24, 1959. They lived in Boscobel, Wisconsin and Tucson, Arizona before settling in Longmont, Colorado. After 24 years of working for IBM, Wes worked part time for Via Mobility Services (formerly Special Transit). He and Lois enjoyed several winter seasons at their second residence in Florida. He served in the Navy and was a member of the St. Vrain Masonic Temple No. 23. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Sue Ross and Julie Forde. He is survived by his wife, Lois Westcott, children Terri (Marc) Vargas of Fort Collins, Lori (Denny) Tidaback of Tucson, AZ, Lee (Linda) Westcott of Longmont, his brother Joel (Sharon) Westcott of Albert Lea, MN and several nieces and nephews. Donations may be made in Wes’s memory to Mountain States Children’s Home or Halcyon Hospice & Palliative Care.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Howe Mortuary on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
