Lila Ellen Fox, 96, of Longmont, died September 9, 2012 at Applewood Living Center. She was born on April 9, 1916 in Bozeman, MT the daughter of Jack and Lucy (Russell) Snyder. On January 1, 1941 she married Lyman Benjamin Fox in Bozeman.
Lila moved to Colorado in 2000 from Montana and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Survivors include her sons William Allen Fox of Boulder, CO and Charles Eldon Fox of Big Fork, MT, three granddaughters: Jennifer Palma of LaSalle, CO, Tamara Fox of Westminster, CO and Lesli Hotzel of Laurel, MT., 10 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and her sister Pearl Brasher of Porum, OK. Her parents, her husband, four brothers George, Vern, Norman and Albert Snyder and one sister Helen Hill preceded her in death.
Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 14, at the Howe Mortuary Chapel. Inurnment will be at the Sunset Hills Cemetery in Bozeman, MT.
