

Lillian Billitteri of Longmont died July 11, 2014 at the Bridge Assisted Living. She was 93 years old. She was born June 8, 1921 in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Mary (Triolo) Palermo.Lillian married Septimo Valenti. Septimo died in service to his country in Europe in 1944, giving her the honorable distinction of a Gold Star Wife. She then married Frank Billitteri and they later divorced.Lillian moved to Longmont in 1988 having previously made her home in Chicago and Ph nix. She was a sales associate for May D & F and then Foley's department stores at the Cross Roads Mall in Boulder.She was a member of Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Lillian also enjoyed bowling, playing golf, bingo and card games. She was very much into watching game shows on TV.She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, brother Frank Palermo and sister Josephine Palermo.Lillian is survived by four children John Valenti (Carol), TeresaMaria Widawski (Thom), Matteo Billitteri and Joseph Billitteri (Debby), four grandchildren John D. Valenti, Olivia DeJana, Jacob Billitteri and Ryann Billitteri, four great-grandchildren Nicolette and Luke Valenti and Liam and Owen DeJana, two step great-grandchildren Nicole and Tony Ermilio and her sister Marie Brunning.Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00pm, with Rosary Prayers at 5:30pm, on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am Friday, July 18 at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church. Entombment at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery Mausoleum.
