

Lois Jean Manley, 86, of Longmont, passed away February 2, 2014 at GoodSamaritan Society Ft. Collins Village. She was born October 28, 1927 in Ft Lupton,CO to William P. and Alice (Morton) Moore. Lois graduated from High School and then attended business school. Lois married L. A. Chris Manley on May 14,1950 in Longmont. They moved toLongmont from Arvada in 1987. She was a homemaker who enjoyed her family, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren. She also enjoyed knitting, embroidery, crocheting, reading andshe was a member of a camping club. She was of Christian faith. Lois was preceded in death by her husband Chris on June 26, 2003, her parents, twobrothers, Wilbur and Edward Moore, two sisters, Ensley Bloom and Mildred Peene. She is survived by four children, Michael Manley and wife Maryanna, MarleneBrown and husband Mike, Judy Hilferty and husband Kent and Jerry Manley; eightgrandchildren- Michele Davis and husband Rich, Matt Brown and wife Jenny, LisaHilferty, Amy Turner and husband Michael, Brittany Manley, Christopher Manley,Trey Manley and Kaden Manley; 5 great grandchildren - Kaylee, Emily, Elleandra,Bretton, and Lane and one sister- Marian Simmons. Visitation will be 4 PM to 6 PM Thursday, Feb. 6 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, February 7, 2014 at Ahlberg FuneralChapel.
