Louise Phelps

Louise Phelps, 72, of Longmont, CO passed away October 12, 2013. She was born on December 30, 1940 in Pueblo, CO to Francis M. & Helen (Platt) Titus.Louise grew up in Pueblo, graduating from Centennial High School in 1958. She married Russell C. Phelps on July 9, 1960 and they had just celebrated their 53rd anniversary.Louise and Russell moved to Boulder in 1960 and Longmont in 1997. Louise worked as an imaging service manager at Kinko's and later for the University of Colorado.Louise was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, family genealogy and traveled the US collecting depression era glass, Duncan Miller swans, Royal Doulton china and dolls.Louise is preceded in death by her parents and brother John M. Titus.Louise is survived by her husband Russell, son Gary (Charlotte) Phelps of Thornton, daughter Sannie (Kevin) Wright of Longmont, sisters Mable (Jack) Boyt of Ankeny, Iowa and Judy (Gordon) Voss of Bowling Green, Missouri and 4 grandchildren Brady and Logan Wright and Jered and Paige Phelps.A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
