Marian R Robinson

Marian R Robinson 82, formerly of Grand Rapids, MI. passed away July 10, 2010 at Longmont United Hospital.She was born February 28, 1928 in Grand Rapids, Mi. to Beryl and Lillian (Jones) Bush.She married Harold Robinson Jr. on September 6, 1945. He preceded her in death in 1983.In her earlier years she worked for MA Bell, GM Diesel Plant and completed her working days as a waitress at the Chez Ami bowling alley.In 2007 she moved from Michigan to Longmont, Co. to live with her daughter Sue (Houck) Upchurch.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sue and Dave Upchurch of Longmont, daughter-in-laws Gretchen Robinson of Caledonia, MI. and Kathy Baker of Michigan.Grandchildren Anna Brus (Pat) of Centennial, CO., Rob Jongsma of Casper, Wyoming, Kacey Morris (Joe) of Melrose, MA., Kevin Robinson (Allison) of Seattle, WA., Ben Robinson of Caledonia, MI., Kimberly Robinson and Jason Robinson of Michigan. Step grandchildren, Brittney Upchurch and Joey Koentop of Longmont, CO. and Poppy and Nate Bush of Dacono, CO. and several Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by close friends Mark Flanigan of Longmont, CO and Dorrit Foltice of Grand Rapids, MI.She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold and sons, Joe Robinson (2005), and Mike Robinson (1985), her parents, and 2 brothers Charles and Gordon Bush.There will be a gathering at the Moose Lodge 2200 Pratt Street Longmont, Co. on Saturday, July 17, 2010 for friends and family from 3-5 pm.Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Service in Longmont.
