

Mark Sunberg, age 53, of Longmont, Colorado went to be with the Lord, Monday, February 23, 2015. Mark was born November 25, 1961 in Red Oak, Iowa to Paul and Myrna (Falk) Sunberg.In 1965 he moved from Red Oak to South West Denver. He graduated from South High School in 1980. He attended National Technical Institute for the Deaf in Rochester, New York and South West Collegiate Institute for the Deaf in Big Spring, Texas where he received an Associates Degree in Electronic Technology.Mark settled in Aurora, CO where he lived from 1988 through 2012. At that time, he relocated to Longmont, CO to be near his mother, brothers, and family.Mark's early career was in electronic technology. Later in life he worked as a handyman on various construction projects. He enjoyed sports especially basketball. He also spent time hunting and camping. Mark was also an avid garage saler. He could certainly negotiate a bargain.Mark attended Master's Hands Bible Church in Denver, CO. He had a deep abiding faith in Jesus Christ. This sustained him throughout his life. Mark had a heart for the deaf community and desired to reach out to them and share Christ's love.He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Sunberg. Survivors include his mother Myrna Sunberg, brother Kent (LeeAnn), brother Kevin (Jana), nieces and nephews: Michaela, Ryan (Renee), Molly, Zach, and Hannah. Great nephews: Jeremiah and Liam.Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday March 7, 2015 at Calvary Church in Longmont. Memorials are suggested for Master's Hands Bible Church in Denver, CO or Wycliffe Associates Global Sign Language Fund. Arrangements entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
