

Marlo Joan (Reinking) Bryan, of Berthoud, Colorado, passed away on June 24. 2025. She was born on July 18, 1931, to Carl F. Reinking and Martha Ahlgrim Reinking. She lived with her family in South Bend, Indiana, and graduated from J.W. Riley High School. In 1952, she moved to Longmont. On April 6, 1958—Easter Sunday—she married Robert L. Bryan at Messiah Lutheran Church in Longmont, where she remained a faithful member throughout her life.
Marlo built a career as a data entry specialist. Over the years, she worked for The Studebaker Co., Austin Contractors at Rocky Flats, Denver Post, Denver IHC Parts Depot, Systems Support, Storage Tech, and Rocky Flats in Golden until her retirement on August 31, 1992.
Marlo was deeply committed to her community, volunteering at Longmont United Hospital where she lovingly crocheted baby booties, hats, and blankets. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, cryptograms, crossword puzzles, crafts, music, cooking, and entertaining. She also found joy in car trips, cruising, playing board games, and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Bryan, her parents, Carl F. Reinking and Martha Ahlgrim Reinking Dawson; her stepfather, Richard L. Dawson; and her brothers, James A. Reinking and Richard L. Dawson Jr. (Jan) of Julesburg, CO and sisters, Carol M. Cortrite and Patricia A. Wilhelm (Rich), both of Julesburg, CO.
Marlo is survived by her beloved daughters, Teri L. Morrow (Scott) of Brush, CO; Lori A. Long (James) of Berthoud, CO; and Robyn R. VanPay (Rory) of Berthoud, CO.
Marlo was a proud grandmother to five granddaughters: Michelle (Daniel), Melissa (Zach), Paige, Stephanie (Alex), and Haylie (Andrew). She also leaves behind four great-granddaughters and one great-grandson, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
