She was 87 years old.Mary Lou was born November 20, 1928 in Wheaton, Illinois to George and Nell Heisterman. She married Elwyn F. Atkinson in February, 1956 in Denver, Colorado.She was a reservation clerk for United Airlines for 20 years. Mary Lou was a member of Rinn United Methodist Church.She enjoyed her family, raising Morgan horses, and volunteering at the National Western Stock Show.Mary Lou is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elwyn, and daughter, Judith Atkinson.She is survived by her son, Glenn (Marilyn) Atkinson and granddaughter, Rose Atkinson.Memorial service 11 AM, Friday, July 15, 2016 at Rinn United Methodist Church.
