Mary I Rotello

Mary I. Rotello, 88, of Longmont passed away November 22, 2015 at Applewood Living Center.She was born September 30, 1927 in Alliance, Nebraska to Layerd F. and Frances M. (Rowley) Drury.On January 29, 1950 Mary married Louis Rotello in Denver, CO. They lived on a farm near Welby, CO. While Louis was active as a farmer and truck driver, Mary was a telephone operator for Mountain Bell Telephone. She quit work to raise her children and later was a telephone operator at the Regency Hotel in Denver. She moved to Longmont in 1990 from Westminster, CO.Mary was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading, shopping and watching the History and Syfi Channels.She was preceded in death her husband January 7, 2008.Mary is survived by four children Mary Dinkel (Larry) of Lawton, Oklahoma, Frances Rotello of Denver, CO, Sandy Nease (Steve) of Cabot, Arkansas and Louis R. Rotello (Heidi) of Aurora, Colorado, thirteen grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.Visitation will be 12:30 to 1:30pm Friday, November 27, 2015, with a funeral service beginning at 1:30 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
