Maureen J. Kelly

Maureen Jean Kelly, 73, of Longmont, CO passed away peacefully at home from colon cancer on March 6, 2014 with her family at her side.Maureen was born November 14, 1940 in Chicago, IL to Edward and Jean Kelly. Maureen married Jerry Rusnak on August 18, 1962 and later divorced after raising three children, Chuck, Jennifer and Randy.Maureen spent 29 years at Southern Hills Middle School as a Counseling Secretary until her retirement. She was a loving, caring, thoughtful and giving person to so many students, family and friends. Maureen was an angel to everyone she touched.Maureen is preceded in death by her parents and son Randy.Maureen is survived by son Chuck, daughter Jennifer, sister Sharon Rizzuto (Angelo), Edward (Maureen) Kelly, Uncle J Skubisz and Aunt Lorraine, nephews, nieces, step-grandson Skyler and her many close friends.A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm, Friday, March 14, 2014 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, 326 Terry St. in Longmont.
