Michael Woodworth

On Thursday August 16, 2018 our beloved father and Buddy to many, passed away at his home in Boulder.Michael was born in Winfield, Kansas in 1949 and graduated from Longmont High School in 1967. He lived and traveled all over the US and finally settled in Boulder, Colorado.He was always on a mission to find the best burger in Longmont, meet a new four-legged friend or share a conversation. His love of Colorado was evident by his ear to ear grin while on his motorcycle blazing along the Peak to Peak Highway, a road he seemed to know by heart.He loved reading and acquiring knowledge on everything from A to Z. He collected and studied the guitar and even played in a band in his younger years. After many years of working in the construction field, he retired from Hygiene Propane Services.Blessed by a contagious smile, sharp witted mind, and a gentle soul, it's no surprise that he was loved and will be deeply missed.He is survived by his Mother Billie Aragon of Boulder, his daughters Sara Woodworth of Longmont and Jessi Taylor of Fairplay. In lieu of flowers we ask that you foster for, adopt from or donate to REZDAWG Rescue or Longmont Humane Society. Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 5 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, 326 Terry St., Longmont, CO 80501.
