
Milo J. Williams, 88, of Longmont died December 4, 2010 at home. He was born December 9, 1921 in Breckenridge, Colorado, to Orville and Alice May (Teal) Williams. Milo honorably served in the US Army from March 9, 1944 to May 20, 1946. Milo married Florence L. White on October 14, 1944 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was a Boulder County native, and enjoyed horses, cattle, and his country life. Milo began working on the family dairy in Nederland and also worked in the mines at Tungsten. He worked in construction first as a plasterer and then in sheet metal, in heating and air conditioning until his retirement. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Tom Williams, two sisters Florence Williams and Veolia Fentress. Milo is survived by his wife Florence, three daughters; JackieLynn McComas and husband Billie, of Salida, CO, Jalane Williams and friend Jim Stanoff of Longmont, Jodie Eggerling and husband Brian of Lyons, CO, eight grandchildren thirteen great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be 4 PM on Tuesday December 7, 2010 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Military honors by American Legion Post 32 of Longmont. Cremation Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory, private inurnment at Green Mountain Cemetery, Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. and sent in care of Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
