Muriel married the love of her life, Harold Current on June 29, 1963 and was blessed with two daughters, Sandra and Jeanie. Harold worked for IBM for 32 years and his job took them to Iowa, New York, New Jersey, and Florida before settling in Colorado in 1966.
Muriel was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an active member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Longmont where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the Ladies Society. Muriel was an accomplished seamstress and could be counted on to make wonderful Halloween costumes and Barbie clothes for her grandchildren when they were young. She also enjoyed whodunnit mysteries, shopping with her daughters, traveling with family, and country music.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her brother, Marvin Battig. Muriel is survived by her two daughters, Sandra DiNatale of Moorpark, CA and Jeanie (David) Vela of Arvada, CO, and five grandchildren: Matthew DiNatale, Justin DiNatale, Ryan Vela, Rachel Vela, and Emily Vela.
