
Najida ˜Mitchy' Lenihan, of Longmont, died December 13, 2010 at her home. She was 65 years old. Mitchy was born on July 30, 1945 in Simla, India, the daughter of Parvez Mohammed Ismail and Mona (Datta) Ismail. She grew up in India, China, Sudan and the United Kingdom and graduated from Wheeling Jesuit University with a Bachelors degree in Business in 1975. She married Timothy G. Lenihan on August 20, 1974 in Jamshedpur, India. Mitchy was an IT Professional with Blue Cross/Blue Shield and New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation. She moved to Longmont from Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1998. She was a board member of Friends of the Longmont Senior Center and a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the International Micr lectronics and Packaging Society (IMAPS). Mitchy enjoyed helping many people and employees through difficult times. She also enjoyed saving and working with animals. Mitchy was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling. Mitchy was preceded in death by her parents, Parvez Mohammed Ismail and Mona (Datta) Ismail. She is survived by her loving husband, Timothy G. Lenihan of Longmont, Colorado; two sisters, Razia Ismail-Abbasi and Parveen Mayadas, both of New Delhi, India; her nephew, Jayant Mayadas of Victoria, Seychelles and her cousin, Meera Eden and niece, Julia Eden, and nephew Chris Eden of London, England and a large extended family. An Irish wake to celebrate Mitchy's life will be held on Monday, December 20 at 7 PM at 951 Reynolds Farm Lane in Longmont, Colorado.
