Nancy Belle Crystal

Nancy Belle Crystal, 86, passed away peacefully at her home on December 20, 2018.She was born June 30, 1932 in South Dakota to James and Myrtle (Trudeau) Cooper. Nancy grew up on the family farm doing the usual farm chores and often riding horseback to school.Nancy moved with her family to California where she graduated from high school.On August 17, 1951 she married Delbert Crystal in Sun Valley, CA. They made their home in San Luis Obispo, CA for 25 years then moved to Longmont in 1993.Nancy was a loving homemaker, wife and mother. She was always the family caregiver.She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, currently with the Union Ward.Nancy was an outgoing, very social person. She loved to surround herself with family and friends. Outings were often a lunch with friends or dinner and a play with family. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were very special in her life. She enjoyed crocheting.She was preceded in death by her husband Delbert in 2003, son Russell in 2009 and sister Jean Waterman.Nancy is survived by son Wesley Crystal (wife Amy Kasallis-Crystal); daughter-in-law Debbie Crystal; grandchildren Jamie Crystal and Ryan Crystal (wife Katelyn); great grandchildren Jayden Belle Crystal and Madisyn Sophie Crystal and two sisters Pat Foster and Kay Long.Visitation will be at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center located at 1721 Red Cloud Road, Longmont from 9:30am to 10:20 am, with a funeral service starting at 10:30 am on Thursday, December 27, 2018.
