Nathan ?Nate? Hall Williams, loving son, brother, uncle, grandson and friend to all, peacefully passed in his sleep from the bonds of this earth into the freedom of heaven on Sunday April 29, 2007. He was 19. Though he never took a step in his life, he left a huge footprint in the hearts of everyone he touched. Nate was bigger than life. His beauty was his innocence about his challenges and what he?d been through and what lay ahead. He was a man who knew no prejudice, no malice, only love and friendship for all who were privileged to know him. His smile and gravely voice touched the hearts of everyone who drew inspiration from his unrelenting strength in the face of incredibly trying times. Nate was born on May 28, 1987, in Longmont to Daniel Williams and Lezlee Leonardi Williams. Nate had various job experiences over the past five years and enjoyed each one thoroughly. He worked at the City of Longmont Senior and Youth Centers, Longmont Public Library, OUR Center Daycare Program, Mountain High Essentials, and the St. Vrain Valley School District to name a few. His greatest asset was his interpersonal skills and he loved interacting with people of all ages. He never knew a stranger. Nate was awarded the Youth Asset Award from the City mayor in recognition of his courage in facing the challenges life presented him. His citation stated his personal courage, positive outlook, and perseverance were an inspiration to all. He was also honored by his peers with a ?Most Inspirational? award from the Longmont High School men?s choir. Nate was also a member of Rocky Mountain Christian Church. Along with his family and friends, he loved the Broncos, Nuggets and yes, even the Rockies. Nate found great joy in everything he did. Playing Playstation with his brothers (Spongebob Squarepants in particular), watching cartoons with his adoring little niece at his feet, laughing and chasing his cousins around the driveway, ""hanging with his homies"" at the Youth Center, tangling a fishing line on the St. Vrain River, swinging wildly at golf balls on the driving range, watching Emeril and the Game Show Network, going to church, poking sticks into a roaring fire, raising the pot in a poker game until only the bravest or usually the most foolish would dare to call his bet, building massive sand castles on the beach and gleefully watching the tides wash them away. Nate raised the stakes in all he did, and more often than not pulled in all of the chips. He danced through life with a spirit few of us will ever know. He will be remembered for his timely sense of humor, his unselfish generosity, and the immeasurable love he blessed us all with. He continues to be an inspiration to all and will be greatly missed. It was a gift to have Nate in your life. He was truly put here on earth to serve a purpose and he fulfilled his obligation with zest, just as he lived his life. We love you man and we always will.Surviving are his mother Lezlee Leonardi, his father Daniel Williams and his wife Victoria Sedlak, a sister Haley Williams, a brother Aaron Williams, two step-brothers, Alec and Zane Sedlak all of Longmont, his grandparents John ?Bud? and Carlita ?Gus?
