

In celebration of a beautiful soul, we announce that Natisha Anthea Lujan has ascended into Eternal Glory on August 9, 2025 at the age of 49. She was born in Boulder, Colorado, and was a long-time resident of Platteville, Colorado.
Natisha was a beloved mother and sister, as well as an accomplished businesswoman in her community and kindness, compassion, and boundless love touched everyone she met.
Natisha had a boundless passion for life that radiated from her very soul. She discovered joy in the simple, yet profound act of cooking for her community, filling hearts and homes with warmth and love. Her spirit found peace and renewal during tranquil mountain retreats with her beloved family. She enjoyed spontaneous adventures with her son and expanding her knowledge of holistic wellness.
Together with her son, Miko, Natisha was fortunate to wander through the timeless streets of Jerusalem and the vibrant landscapes of Spain. Those who knew her will forever cherish her boundless empathy, her selfless nature, and the tireless dedication she poured into every endeavor through her unwavering work ethic. Her relentless ambition to grow and uplift those around her shone like a guiding light.
Natisha was, above all, a true servant of God, embodying His love in every breath and every act. Through her courageous battle against cancer, she was surrounded by the unwavering love and support of her son and family. In the end, she triumphed; her spirit soaring gently into the tender embrace of God, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and grace that will forever inspire all who were blessed to know her.
She is survived by her son, Miko Rios, his husband Daniel Villa, her life partner Benny Rios and his son Saxon Rios, her parents, Carolyn and Michael; her four sisters, Shadie, Peeahwee, Taigi, and Jamie; and many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul and Florence Lujan, and Eddy and Doris Tucker.
Natisha’s beautiful spirit, generous heart, and loving presence will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Her son encourages others to perform acts of kindness to honor her memory and legacy of love and courage.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Howe Mortuary & Crematory, 439 Coffman, Street, Longmont, Colorado 80501. Rosary prayers will commence at 5:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 323 Collyer Street, Longmont, Colorado 80501. https://youtube.com/live/BgdAn4fCX8s?feature=share At 11:45 a.m. Natisha will be laid to rest at Mizpah Cemetery, 12837 County Road 32, Platteville, Colorado, 80651. Following the graveside committal service a reception will be held at the Recreation Inn, 315 Marion Avenue, Platteville, Colorado 80651.
Natisha is deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
