Neal Ree Martinez was born on April 23, 1958 in Durango, Colorado and entered into the presence of his Lord and Saviour on December 8, 2025. He was the oldest son of Demis & Alice Martinez. In 1973, the family moved to Enid, Oklahoma where he graduated from Chisolm High School in 1976. Neal served in the United States Army from 1979-1982. He graduated from the University of Hawaii in 1990 with a degree in Civil Engineering and moved back to Colorado. He lived in Denver and Broomfield and made engineering his career until he retired in the spring of 2025.
Neal was a member of Crossroads Church of Denver. He loved the Lord and had a great interest in Bible prophecy, greatly anticipating the second coming of Christ. Neal was an Eagle scout and served as a troop scout master. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking and hunting. He was an avid Broncos fan. Most of all, Neal loved his family and enjoyed every opportunity to spend time together with them.
