Ngan was born in Vietnam on January 2, 1918 to Co Dinh Nguyen and Thach Thi Nghiem. She married Lien Quy Nguyen in 1940 in Vietnam. She was a hard worker, starting and operating her own silk weaving manufacturing company.
After retiring, she eventually moved to Colorado to join some of her family.
Preceding her in death are her husband, a son Yen Van Nguyen and a daughter Nguyet Thi Nguyen.
Surviving are three sons Lap Phung Nguyen of Longmont; Tuan Quy Nguyen of Canada; and Binh Quy Nguyen of Longmont; three daughters Oanh Thi Nguyen of Vietnam; Chuc Thi Nguyen of Maui, Hawaii; and Man Thi Nguyen of Longmont; a brother Lam Dinh Nguyen of Vietnam; a sister Van Thi Nguyen of Vietnam. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation hours will begin at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 7, at the Howe Mortuary Chapel. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m., at the Howe Mortuary Chapel.
Interment will follow at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.
