He is survived by his wife Jean, sons Kevin (wife Kristi) Eric, grandchildren Sarah (husband DJ) Nicholas (wife Patricia).
He was born in Las Animas Co. February 14, 1935. His parents were Tim and Marian McChesney and he had one sister, Linda, all of whom preceded him in death. Nick and Jean were married in 1956 and moved to Longmont in 1968 and established their restaurant La Cocina Inn on third and main, Nick enjoyed his business and customers for thirty years. He also enjoyed his family, friends and the outdoors. Nick wished to only be remembered as he was in life by all his friends and family in their own private ways, at his request no funeral or memorial services will be held.
