Norma was a homemaker as well as a clerk at Dorsey Drug Store. In 1963 Rodger moved his family to Boulder, Colorado to find more work. Norma began working at Gene Lang's Pharmacy shortly after that and was a beloved employee there for 35 years. She was a favorite, familiar and friendly face and she really enjoyed her job waiting on customers, especially selling jewelry and makeup which was her specialty. She was glam queen and dressed to the nines always and the perfect makeup was a daily routine. She was employed at Gene Lang's until she broke her hip and shortly after that took care of Rodger when he got cancer which led to his death in 2000.
She lived in her home in Boulder until June of 2021 where she was in assisted living at the Bridge in Longmont.
She will always be remembered for having a heart for the "underdog". She donated to St. Jude's , Disabled and Blind Veterans for years and other charities just to help others.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and will be greatly missed.
