

Norman Vojta passed away May 15, 2019 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Boulder. He was 88 years old.Norm was born August 29, 1930 in Mound City, SD to Arthur and Mae (Anderson) Vojta. He enlisted in the US Army where he served in France during the Korean War. On April 29, 1951 he married Alvena Rossow in North Dakota.Together they moved to Boulder in 1962 from South Dakota. Norm started his own plumbing business Norms Plumbing in 1968, he retired in 1985 when he sold his business to his son.He was a member of Mount Zion Lutheran Church in Boulder and in his free time enjoyed working in his yard, fishing, hunting, and fixing and tinkering with things.Norm was preceded in death by his wife; his granddaughter Annaliese; his parents and seven siblings.He is survived by his children Douglas (Donna) Vojta, Kathy (Larry) Moore, Carol (Gary) Garzone and Lynette (Alex) Carter; his grandchildren Ernst, Christopher, Alishia, Simone, William, Vincent, A. Jed and Candace; eight great-grandchildren and his sister Joyce Schlepp.A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 21st at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel with visitation one hour prior.
