

Pamela Lee Pittman Fritchlee Armstrong, of Longmont, Colorado, died at her home on September 3, 2008, following a sudden illness. She was 55 years old.Pam was born November 3, 1952, in Durango, Colorado, to Herschel Gradon Pittman and Bernice (Armstrong) Pittman. She graduated from Huntsville (Arkansas) High School in 1972. On February 14, 1974, Pam married Danny Michael Fritchlee in Fayetteville. They later divorced.She moved back to Colorado in 1981 and had worked for Johnson Publishing in Boulder, and most recently, for First Transit. Pam loved animals and supported several wolf, mountain lion, and large animal rescues as well as local humane societies. She also enjoyed decorating her home for holidays and special occasions.Ms. Armstrong was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son, Samuel Ray Fritchlee and his wife, Kara Lynn and their daughter, Kyleigh Lynn, all of Longmont; and by her former husband, Danny Michael Fritchlee of Washington, DC.Family will greet friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, September 8, 2008, at Howe Mortuary, Longmont. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 9 at Howe Mortuary with Pastor Marcel Pichot of the Longmont Seventh Day Adventist Church officiating.
