

Patricia, DiGiallonardo, 84, of Longmont, died August 24, 2012 peacefully in her sleep in her home. Pat was born on March 30, 1928 to Michael A. Ciocchetti and Adelina Lola Batista Ciocchetti in Firestone, Colorado. Raised in Tri-Town area, she graduated from Frederick High School in 1945. Pat married Anthony DiGiallonardo on July 16, 1949 in Frederick. Her most cherished time was providing for and sharing time with her children and grandchildren. Her warm smile was always welcoming. Pat was a very talented cook. If you visited her house, you would never leave hungry. She was especially ”famous” for her delicious homemade spaghetti and meatballs. Every Christmas was celebrated with her and Tony’s amazing ravioli. Her special pizelles were a treat to many during the holiday season. In her early days she also enjoyed golfing and bowling. For a number of years she took pride in volunteering at the 9 New Health Fair as a tabulator.
Preceding her in death are her parents; brothers Nello and Anthony Ciocchetti; and sisters Fraulina Shaw and Lily Hattel.
Surviving are her husband Tony of Longmont; a daughter Toni Lynn (Sam Cooley) DiGiallonardo of Evanston, Colorado; a son Michael (JoLynn) DiGiallonardo of Longmont and five grandchildren Matthew, Zachary, Joshua and Jacob DiGiallonardo and Allyssa (Wade) Kingsbury.
Visitation hours will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by a Rosary at the Howe Mortuary Chapel, Tuesday, August 28. Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 29 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. An interment will follow at Foothills Gardens of Memory.
