

Pat was born on August 5, 1934 in Denver to William Harvey and Frieda Schlupp Harvey. They moved to Longmont when she was an infant, spending her formative years here. She had many friends who she maintained close through their entire lives. She graduated from Longmont High School where she played in the school orchestra.
Pat attended Colorado A&M, where she received an Associate Degree in Business Secretarial school. She went to work for the Gates Rubber Company in Denver, as an Executive Secretary for the company. She enjoyed her time with the company and the experience it provided.
Pat married Glenn Markham on August 7, 1955 in Longmont. They would move to the family farm in Mead and begin farm life and starting a family.
Pat was a tremendous host and fun personality. She loved feeding family and friends at her home and being the life of the party. She was a member of P.E.O. Chapter M. An avid bridge player, she was a member of several bridge clubs.
Preceding her in death are her son John Glenn Markham, and a brother Jack Harvey.
Surviving are her husband; a son Ed (Mindi) Markham of Mead; daughter Vickie (Wes) Wilson of Naples, Florida; two sisters Bunny (Del) Rawjewski of Arvada and Suellen (John) Houchin of Candler, North Carolina; five grandchildren; Cody (Kara) Markham; Shane (Alyssa) Markham; Kylie (Ryan) West; Amanda (Nick) Zbikowski; and Wade (Rachel) Wilson; and 7 great grandchildren Cooper, Treagon, Emerick, Makenna, Piper, Grant, and Laurel.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 30, at the Howe Mortuary Chapel.
