Patricia Jane Moffitt

Born 12/12/1938 in Los Angeles California to Robert Manning Moffitt and Rose Ann Bryant.

She had one brother Daniel, three sisters; Beverly, Colleen and Jean. She never married and had no children but endeared herself to all 17 of her nieces and nephews: Danny, Roberta, Buck, Dolly, Jesse, Vickie, Debra, Tom, Jr., Martin, Leilani, Rebecca, Robert, Kathy, Patty, Edna, Brodie and Brian.

Patricia’s family moved from California to Colorado in 1943. Her dad was a truck driver and her mother was a homemaker and seamstress. Patricia lost her father in 1955 and her mother in 2000.

As an adult, Patty lived in California, New Jersey and Nevada before moving back to Colorado in 2018. She had worked for many years with children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities.

She loved horses, dogs, the Dallas Cowboys, warm weather, Patsy Cline and buzzing around in her Pontiac GT.

Her greatest asset, according to her family and most who knew her, was her sense of humor. She often made difficult situations more bearable by her light-hearted perspective.

Patty passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at the McIntosh Care and Rehabilitation Center in Longmont, CO. She was 87.

Preceded in death were her parents, siblings Daniel, Colleen and Jean as well as six nieces and one nephew. May all rest in peace.
