Ratner, Paul, 86, of Longmont, died November 19, 2014 at the Peaks Care Center. Paul was born October 3, 1928 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, to Alan and Sara (Rubenstein) Ratner. Following his high school graduation, Paul enlisted with the United States National Guard, being Honorably Discharged a few years later. Paul spent his career in sales, most of it selling firearms.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Wilma (Scott) Ratner. He is survived by his daughters Michelle Ratner, Tina Cary and Lisa Wollert his sons Brett and Michael Ratner, James and Stephen Poland and John Nelson. He has nine grandchildren, Ashley, Leslie, Stephanie, Quint, Jessica, Zack, Shawn, Branden and Nathan. He also has four great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Addison, Zooey and Alexis.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel. Services will conclude at the Chapel. Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services. A reception will follow the service at the Longmont Moose Lodge, 2240 Pratt St.
