

Phyllis E. Nemnich, born December 1, 1939 in Atlanta, TX and adopted by George and Joan (Whitehead) Steinhour, passed away April 5, 2024 in Longmont, CO. Phyllis was a graduate of Adams City High School in Commerce City, CO. Following her graduation she went on to attend nursing school.
On July 3, 1959 Phyllis married Charles Nemnich in Broomfield, CO. She was a member on The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Phyllis loved quilting and collecting recipes.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her sons Charles Douglas Nemnich (Michelle) of Thornton, CO and Todd Nemich of Provo, UT; her daughters Lori Torres (Randy) of Northglenn, CO, Jodi Forsyth (Douglas) of Thornton, CO and Ann Geis (Brian) of Johnstown, CO. Grandchildren: Christopher, Kendra (Sean), Ciara (Collyn), Jason (Becky), Joel (Kaci), Landon, Jacob, Taylor (Brinna), Tanner (Yesenia Sanchez), McKay (Jordan) Camryn (Carson) Great Grandchildren: Paighton, Quinn, Penelope, Fiona, Felicity, Giddeon, Benjamin and Reagan.
A visitation for Phyllis will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Relief Society Room located at 2200 11th Avenue, Longmont, Colorado. Her funeral service will commence at 9:30 a.m. followed by the receiving of friends by the Nemnich family. A graveside committal service will take place at 11:15 a.m. at Mountain View Cemetery located at 620 11th Avenue, Longmont, Colorado.
