

Raydene was born on December 5, 1942 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Raymond and Leota Pfleeger. She spent her early years in Oklahoma in a small, rural farming community. Later, she moved to the Texas Gulf Coast to a small town full of beaches and good people.
After graduating high school, Raydene took a college computer class. She had multiple jobs over the course of her lifetime ranging from homemaker, to receptionist, and a school cafeteria cook.
Raydene married her first husband, William "Billy" Prewitt in Angleton, Texas. Together, they had one son, Paul Prewitt. Later, Raydene married her second husband, Roger W. Price in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Together, they had two daughters, Virginia and Pamela Price. Roger, Raydene, Paul, Virginia, and Pamela moved to Colorado in the 1970's. Then in the 1980's, Roger and Raydene moved to northern Colorado. Raydene was described as a loving, caring, protective, and authentic mother.
Her family describes her as an upfront, genuine, trustworthy, funny person who was a good cook, a nature lover, cat lover, and animal lover. Raydene loved to garden, eat sweets, shop, craft, crochet, arrange flowers, watch late night TV, stay up late, and attend professional baseball games.
Raydene, a beloved mother and grandmother, will be sincerely missed. She was a once in a lifetime person. Raydene embodied a loving spirit and tender heart.
Raydene was preceded in death by her first husband, William "Billy" Prewitt; second husband, Roger W. Price; parents, Raymond Dean Pfleeger and Leota Pearl Pfleeger; daughter, Pamela Price; daughter-in-law, Deborah Prewitt; brother, Joe Pfleeger, and grandson, Cody Prewitt.
Raydene is survived by her daughter, Virginia Price; son, Paul Prewitt; sister, Sally Baze; sister-in-law, Linda Pfleeger; grandchildren, Warren Price-Rey, Justin Paul Price, Beth Chapa, Jason Chapa, Annie Williams, Clinton Williams, and Jimmy Prewitt; and 5 great-grandchildren, Alexis, Aiden, Ava, Corbin, and Hazel. Raydene is also survived by her dog, Missy.
A graveside service for Raydene will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 9 a.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Avenue, Denver, Colorado.
A celebration of life for Raydene will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 4 p.m. at Howe Mortuary & Crematory, 439 Coffman Street, Longmont, Colorado.
In lieu of flowers, Raydene's family requests that donations be made to a local animal shelter.
