RJay Edward Elliott

RJay was born on December 15, 1989 in Boulder, CO to Edward Salazar and Kimberly Elliott. He grew up in Dacono and attended Frederick High School. RJay worked for the family auto recycling business in Dacono.

RJay was a large person with a big heart for his family, friends, and anyone who needed help. He was loved by many and was a great dad to his daughter and uncle to many nieces and nephew and friend to his numerous cousins. RJay enjoyed riding dirt bikes and motorcycles, jet skiing, going camping, listening to all kinds of music, sports, cooking, Bar-B-Q and he coached a kids coach pitch softball team. Family and friends was a big part of RJay’s life.

RJay is survived by Roscoe (Jim) & Debra (Debi) Elliott of Dacono, his daughter Nevaeh Elliott and her mother Kali Hanes of Frederick, Kimberly (Travis) Conover of Brighton, Edward (Ronette) Salazar of Sioux Falls, Antonio (Kandra) Villani of Frederick, Grandmother: Alice Fallad of Longmont, Brothers and Sisters: Xaviera (Eric Casados) Elliott of Fort Lupton, Elliott Train of Dacono, Antonia Villani of Frederick, Roscoe Conover of Brighton, Casey Houle, Sioux Falls, Payton Strum of Sioux Falls, Edward Salazar of Sioux Falls, Aunts & Uncles: Sandy (John) Roedel of Fort Lupton, Barbara (Mike) Hubbard of Billings, Shari Elliott of Dacono, Valerie (Troy) Taylor of Dacono, Richelle (Jeff) Conway of Mead, Bernadette Salazar of Longmont, Angel (Pete) Barajas of Longmont, Salvador Salazar of Longmont, Cirrio Salazar of Longmont, Gino Salazar of Sioux Falls, Patrick Salazar of Longmont, Joey Alter of Longmont and many, many cousins.

RJay was preceded in death by Saralyn (Sally) Dowdy (Nana), Bertha Sissneroes (Grandmother), Manuel Sissneroes (Grandfather) and cousins.

A Vigil service with Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 6 at Howe Mortuary. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 7 at Rocky Mountain Christian Church in Niwot, a gathering will be held at the American Legion in Firestone after the memorial service. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services.

Memorial contributions may be given for his daughter, Nevaeh Elliott Memorial Fund at any US Bank.
