Robert Malcolm Cranston II

Born in Oak Park, Illinois to Robert and Marie Cranston, he had two sisters, Joanne Pine and Eileen Jones (deceased). He graduated from St. Mel High School in 1954. He also attended the University of Illinois at Navy Pier. Bob was a veteran of the Army and National Guard from 1960-1965. He married Patricia Panenka on July, 30, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois. He had three daughters: Karen (Tim) Hirneisen; Linda (Clifford) Cranston and Suzanne Cranston (deceased). He had three grandchildren: Sean (Kayleigh) Connroy; Chris Connroy and Marie (Jaycee) Sadowski.

Bob and Pat moved to Boulder, Colorado in 1971 and then to Longmont in 1996.

He was a draftsman for Western Electric in Chicago, Illinois and worked up to production manager, later working in inventory control for AT&T in Denver, Colorado. He retired in 1988. Bob was active in the Boulder Jaycees, Elks Club and American Legion.

During his life, Bob was an avid golfer, raced go-carts, enjoyed bowling and car rallies.

Bob was a tissue and bone donor. Memorial contributions in his name can be made to the American Heart Association.
