Rocco N. Figurilli

Rocco Nick Figurilli, of Frederick, Colorado, died Friday, February 9, 2007 at Longmont United Hospital. He was 80 years old.Rocco was born May 7, 1926 in Evanston, Colorado, to August Nick and Paulina Nicolena (Colecchia) Figurelli. He grew up and attended schools in Frederick. On November 13, 1943, Rocco married Betty L. Forshey in Brighton. The couple made their home in Frederick.Mr. Figurilli worked as a diesel mechanic with Cummins Power Inc. in Commerce City for many years before retiring as shop foreman in 1989.He enjoyed fishing, family vacations, and spending time with his family at their cabin near North Park, Colorado. He especially enjoyed time spent with his children and grandchildren. Survivors include his sons, Richard Figurilli and wife, Sherry, of Brighton, and Rocky Figurilli and wife, Gail, of Thornton; his daughter, Nancy Dufour and husband, Stan, of Frederick; two brothers, Fervio ""Fred"" Figurilli, of Longmont, and Archie Figurilli of Firestone; and two sisters, Rosie Williams of Lakewood, and Mary Jane Hall of Greeley. He is further survived by eight grandchildren, Rod Dufour and wife, Jody, Randy Dufour and wife, Melinda, Roger Dufour and wife, Melissa, Ranissa Dufour, Jeff Figurilli and wife, Cathy, Ryan Figurilli, Julie Figurilli, and Margaret Figurilli; and eight great-grandchildren, Ashlie Dufour, RJ Dufour, Alex Dufour, Dylan Dufour, Aspen Dufour, Tori Dufour, Riley Dufour, and Nickolaus Figurilli.Mr. Figurilli was preceded in death by his wife on May 13, 2001; his parents; a brother, Mario Figurilli; as well as a brother and sister whom died as infants.Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Howe Mortuary, Longmont. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at Howe Mortuary, Longmont.
