Roger Dale Strickland

Roger Dale was born June 30, 1961 in Detroit, Michigan to Richard Dale and Dorothy J. (Hlavac) Strickland. Roger attended school in Longmont and graduated from Niwot High School. He then attended Front Range Junior College in Westminster and Longmont.

Roger was a volunteer at Front Range and worked for many years in the campus library. He became a library technician and was a valuable resource to faculty and students on the campus. Over the years, Roger got to know many people in the community and was friends with many. He was a bartender at Bit of Billiards and also was a repair and recycling technician for his own business working with printer cartridges. Roger enjoyed boating, fishing and studying about weapons.

Roger was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his father of Platteville; a brother Clifford Andrew Strickland and his wife Pat of Dallas, Texas and two nieces: Amanda and Alysia.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services. The family is planning private services at a future time.
