Rose Mary Vidal

Rose Vidal, 88, of Frederick, passed away peacefully July 26, 2019 at her home surrounded by family. She was born September 26, 1930 in Evanston Colorado to Enrique and Angela Moreno. She married Richard Vidal on February 14, 1955. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Saint Theresa’s Catholic Church in Frederick. Rose adored spending time in the Colorado mountains. She loved sports, particularly watching the Colorado Rockies and the Colorado Buffaloes – basketball and football. Rose is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard, a sister Rachel Garcia, and a brother Robert Moreno Sr. Surviving are her sons Richard Vidal Jr. and Alex Vidal both of Frederick, her daughters Shirley Vidal of Boulder, Kathy Vidal of Frederick, Diana Vidal and husband Thomas Dunne of Frederick, and a brother Rudy Moreno of Frederick. She is further survived by four grandchildren: Brandon Warren, Desiree Southworth, Sam Southworth, and Jethro Somers. Rosary 6:00 pm, Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Howe Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10:30 am at St. John the Baptist Church. Reception to follow mass at the Howe Event Center at Howe Mortuary 11:30am-12:45pm. Graveside service and Interment will then be at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery at 1:00pm.
