Russell Ivan Cole

Russell Ivan Cole, of Longmont, died of cancer January 26, 2017. He was 76.Born Dec. 15, 1940 in Berwick, PA, he was the son of Ivan Cole and Mildred Hoover Cole.A 1958 graduate of Berwick High School, he later moved to Longmont and worked at HogsettLumber, Flatiron Paving Company, as a handyman, and later, worked for McDonald FarmsEnterprises as a truck driver.Mr. Cole enjoyed riding his Harley, camping, and spending time with friends and family. He was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.He was preceded in death by his mother and father; second wife, Jennifer Cole, and daughter,Chantel Cole.Mr. Cole is survived by his wife Bette; his son, Todd (Dana); daughter, Tracy (George); son,David; sister, Margaret Cole (Bob); stepson, Jamie Sevier; stepdaughter, Tara Wertz (Ivan) andnumerous other relatives.A memorial service will be held 1:00pm, Wednesday, February 1, at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel with the Rev.
