She was born Ruth M. Godshalk in Philadelphia, PA. Ruth was a graduate of Ursinus College. She taught Physical Education and coached in South Jersey for over 20 years.
This is where she met and married J. Kenneth Sergeson. Upon retirement Ruth and Ken moved to Ellsworth, Maine where Ruth became an avid conservationist for the protection of Loons with the Maine Audubon Society. Ruth came to Colorado in 1995 and became active in a group of seniors that walked and exercised in the Longmont Twin Peaks Mall. She is survived by sisters Carol, Joan and Marcia on the east cost and her son Steve in Boulder.
Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services, Longmont, CO. Private services will be held.
