Ryan Duane Howard

Ryan Duane Howard, 23, of Lone Tree passed away of natural causes March 4, 2018 in Greeley, CO.He was born June 14, 1994 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. He moved with his family to Highlands Ranch, CO where he grew up, graduating Rock Canyon High School in 2013.Ryan was a student at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. He had just completed his classes for a BA in finance and the University of Northern Colorado has awarded his degree posthumously.He enjoyed the outdoors and the mountains. Ryan liked sports and was active in baseball, football and basketball in youth leagues, high school and intermurals. He was also a weight lifter and had recently taken up boxing. Ryan had a keen interest in politics and history.Ryan had a tremendous core group of friends, some dating from kindergarten, who identified themselves as HRHC. From them he received tremendous support. He was preceded in death by his grandfather James Day.Ryan is survived by his father Randy Howard, mother Barbara Day Rodriguez and her husband Jose, grandparents Ron and Juanita Howard and Claudia Day, sister Kristi Howard, brother Tyler Howard, half-sisters Brianna and Amanda Rodriguez, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and his faithful dog, Toby.Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Saturday March 10, 2018 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00am Monday, March 12, 2018 at New Creation Church, 737 Bross St., Longmont. Interment at Foothills Gardens of Memory.
