Sarah Mullins

Sarah was born in Denver, Colorado on May 13, 1956 and raised by her mother. Determined and focused she began working to support herself at an early age. On September 7, 1979 she married H. Ray Mullins in Golden, Colorado.

Together Ray and Sarah raised to beautiful twin girls. Working for Boulder Community Hospital, in the medical records department, Sarah seemed to have a calling. While taking on the responsibilities of a wife and mother, she began to further her career. She attended and graduated from Regis University and became an expert in the field of Health Information Management. While owning and operating Sarah Mullins Consulting, Inc. for the past 23 years, Sarah worked in numerous Long Term Care Facilities assisting and educating with Health Information and HIPPA laws to keep up with regulations, concerning medical records accuracy and privacy.

While Sarah never retired, taking on scheduled appointments this past week, she did enjoy some free time with her family. The past number of years, she and Ray enjoyed numerous trips around the country and to various parts of Europe. She so enjoyed being an instrumental part of her daughters lives and more recently the pleasure of time with her cherished granddaughters. Watching and following the Rockies and her beloved Broncos was a joy.

Surviving are her husband Ray of Longmont; her daughters Brenda Mullins of Longmont and Christy (Jonathan) VanZee and granddaughters Alexis and Addison of Thornton; her mother Mary Large of Westminster; sisters Katie Grigsby of Westminster and Sandra (Dean) Allard of Denver; and a brother Bob (Ruth) Kelley of Phoenix, Arizona.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, August 12, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1000 15th Ave., Longmont.
